About us
The Communities Together Trust (CTT) was formed in January 2021 by a handful of conscious citizens – originating from both the Scottish and Minority Ethnic Communities – out of shared spirit, feeling, courage and sacrifices in tackling deadly Covid-19 virus, thus worst pandemic facing the communities.
The Communities Together Trust is a Non-Profit community organization. Indeed, mutual respect and trust among individuals in communities toward enriching the multi-racial, multi-faith and multi-cultural Scottish Society is fundamental to this organization.
Bringing Communities Together for shared contribution towards collective benefit and welfare is the Mission of The Communities Together Trust (CTT). Motivated by the core belief that Diversity is at the root of human creativity, ‘Being Together’ would be the pathway out of underdevelopment, thus builds ‘Trust’ among all involved.
In doing so the CTT works with individuals, communities, organisations and the state, to assist the development of civil society structures and social capital within especially the Minority Ethnic Communities and to work with all communities in helping those structures ‘fix in’ to our wider Scottish society.
The CTT’s Vision is ‘Distinctly Positioning of the Local Communities in a Scotland – That is Fair, Equal and Inclusive – Where All Citizens are Valued, Empowered and Fully Engaged.’
